According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalan club has agreed on a new deal with the German coach through his agent, Pini Zahavi. Flick’s contract will run until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for an additional season until 2029 if specific conditions are met.
The negotiations were led by club president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco, with the key terms already finalized. However, the official signing may take place later, as Flick wants to concentrate on the team’s sporting objectives until the end of the current season.
With three rounds remaining in La Liga, Barcelona is still chasing the 100-point and 100-goal milestones. The Catalans currently have 91 points and 91 goals.
Flick took over Barcelona in 2024. Under his leadership, the team has won La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and two Spanish Super Cups.
