The New York Jets have bolstered their offensive line by signing veteran lineman Landon Young, following a tryout at the team’s rookie minicamp. The move was announced on Sunday, with the corresponding roster cut being wide receiver Mac Delana. Young, originally a sixth-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2021, has spent the past five seasons with the Saints. Over that span, he appeared in 56 games with 12 starts, playing both guard and tackle. He was an every-game player last season and started at both guard positions. Dalena, who spent time on the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad in 2024, had inked a futures contract with the Jets earlier this year.
